what does "anabolic weight gain supplement mean"?

Question by Alex: what does "anabolic weight gain supplement mean"? The other day I noticed that my "Protein Mix" said "Anabolic Weight Gain Supplement" on it. Does this mean I've been taking steroids? or is that another term used to describe a "Protein Mix"? I did not buy the product because it said "Anabolic Wight Gain"

It's marketing...people think "Anabolic" means "Steroids" which makes them think "I'll get bigger". Think of it as another way of saying "Has lots of calories"...that's it, and no, you're not taking steroids.
